Every day, 10 million players from all over the world visit Poki.com for free and easy access to their favorite games.

What this job is about:

Grow the Poki playground through advertising across social platforms. You work closely together with our creative and insights specialists to create and scale display and video creatives that connect games on Poki to relevant (gaming) audiences on social platforms. You have ownership over 7 digit budgets and iterate fast based on your own performance analysis and insights from peers. A big part of the challenge is managing the complexity of running cross-device, cross-platform campaigns in over 100 markets for a collection of over 2,000 games growing every day.

Your challenge as a Paid Social Marketing Manager:

Your first year will revolve around solving three major challenges that are essential to growing the Poki platform:

 

  1. Find the right audiences for what we have to offer as a playground. Create a scalable, performant and global setup with high-levels of automation. Understand where our audience is at and find unexplored opportunities.
  2. Set up a structured workflow to test, evaluate, and iterate on creatives and story lines. Work together with marketing design and our game developer community to produce fresh and relevant creatives for the latest game releases.
  3. Balance the ROAS and growth rate of our playground. Align with the VP Marketing on different strategies for specific markets and platforms. And report on the core growth metrics.

 

The role is expected to scale in impact and depth over-time. Successful execution means that budgets for ads, the creative pipeline and platforms expand and thus responsibility increases.

You:

  • are a social native marketeer who’s immersed in gaming culture.
  • have 4+ years experience running data-driven social campaigns.
  • have proficiency with platform tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
  • are digitally fluent (e.g. you can combine code, sheets, LLMs to automate campaigns).
  • are an immersive learner that operates with collaborative autonomy.

Bonus experience:

  • You have deep understanding of popular culture in the US.
  • You have experience with audience segmentation.
  • You understand tracking from a technical and privacy perspective.
