Do you want to help players on their journey to continue discovering more, and even better, games on web?

Hey - we're Poki! We're a tech scale-up on a mission to create the ultimate online playground. Currently, more than 50 million monthly players around the world come to us for easy access to the best games on web. The games are created by our thriving game developer community, existing of 350 game developer teams. Making sure players benefit from more, and better games is key to the growth of our playground. To bring the discovery for our players to the next level we're looking for a Data Analyst.

TL;DR

Poki is a multisided platform and our business model is set up for scale. Our platform is designed so that players from all over the world can have a good experience playing free games, while game developers can generate earnings. These games are created by game developers from our community and are released on Poki through our developer platform, Poki for Developers. The more players we attract to our Playground, the more earnings we generate for our developers. We work with a selected group of advertisers to monetize the games while making sure we only show quality ads.

Our data savvy Content team is responsible for how we present the games of our game developers on our playground. With actionable insights we help our developers create quality content to attract more players.

Your Focus as a Data Analyst at Poki

  • Create a new dashboard to A/B test thumbnails. Answering which thumbnail creates the best player experience?
  • Help our game developer operations team to understand what games to sign. Do we offer the most popular games and categories in our niche?

Another main focus area will be acting on opportunities to improve the content on our platform. Some examples of how this might look:

  • Improve the most visited, and worst performing pages of our playground by making sure we recommend the right games and categories.
