What you'll be up to
You’ll be tasked with designing and implementing Poki’s PR strategy. This will be with the aim to help us become the go-to platform for game developers and become a leading influencer in our industry. It’s a role that calls for a large slice of creative/brand thinking, hands-on experience with marketing and PR, plus you have to have great communication and writing skills. You’ll be part of our international Marketing Team based in Amsterdam. Plus you’ll be collaborating closely with our Growth Team and our Brand & Culture Team.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it
You’ll need to develop and execute our PR strategy, ensuring we can get our story across to all sides of our platform (game developers, players, advertisers). And strengthen and expand our relationship with partners, journalists and industry influencers.
Play an important role in our Employer Branding strategy. Help Poki become known as the most playful company in the industry and beyond. You’ll arrange sponsorships and speaker opportunities on key events in the US, Europe and the rest of the world. Plus you’ll need to drive meetups and other events at Poki HQ.
You’ll bring our brand identity and tone of voice to life in all our internal and external communications, so that everything we say and do fits perfectly with our brand positioning.
It’ll be your responsibility to help Poki grow into a leading global entertainment brand by rolling out our global marketing strategy on web and mobile – with the aim to grow 30m fans to more than 100m in the coming years.
Bonus challenge: make a difference to the lives of millions of players by crafting our social media strategy and grow our presence on YouTube and all other social channels our players are drawn to – but ones that most marketers have never heard of.
